Author Chad Alice Hagen discovered the world of handmade felt in 1979 and became a fulltime feltmaker and artist in 1982.

The chapters of techniques have close up color pictures of the steps to make solid felt balls, snake like ropes, flat felt and prefelt.

Complete instructions to make jewelry, chair pad, bag, door stop, animals, mittens, a cozy, throw, book cover, slippers, table runnerand hand quilted pillow are detailed in text and pictures.
(8 1/2 x 11 in) 80 pages $14.95

Two of the projects are the open weave scarf on the left and the beret done with prefelt designs.
